Objective : Determination of the five trace elements of Lycium
barbarum from the different producing areas: Ningxia, Inner Mongolia,
Hebei, Shandong and compare the five trace elements of Zn, Mn,
Cu, Pb, As .Providing the basis for evaluation of the quality
of medicines.
Method : The wet digestion and atomic absorption spectrophotometer.
Results : Hebei ,Shandong Goji useful metals Cu & Mn and hazardous
metals Pb & As, content was slightly higher than in Ningxia
and Inner Mongolia. However, no significant difference. Ningxia,
the fruit of Chinese wolfberry Zu/Cu slightly higher than the
other regions
Chinese wolfberry, mainly in Ningxia, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia,
Shanxi, Gansu, Qinghai provinces, Ningxia produces better quality
products.
